One Way

Cesar, a Spanish expat back in Spain for a quick get-together, attends a dinner reunion with friends that’ll force him to a difficult decision in order to cut lose of what is dragging him down, while living in limbo between his new future ahead and still letting old friends and family know he cares about them.

We spend our lives transitioning and arriving. If we’re ready to move on —whether it’s leaving a city, a job, a relationship— we plan the heck out of our departure.

One Way is the story about the sacrifices made by those who leave their hometown to live like expats in the search of something better. Of how often expats become detached from their home places but can’t still fit in the new place.

7 people at a dinner reunion, a steadicam operator and a crew of 20 will dance to a 15 minute oner (one shot) carefully rehearsed to perfection. Lighting and set dressing will change live during the take and every single detail will be finely tuned to get ONE WAY, and one only, made. The one way you chose when you decide to move abroad.

Crowdfunding is love-funding. ONE WAY needs your help!
