Terra de Festes – [TV]

TV Summer program

À Punt
Terra de Festes IG | Federació Valenciana de Municipis y Províncies |

A program that explores the festivals and traditions of the entire Valencian Community. Presented by Ferran Cano, each week we dive into the region’s rich festive and cultural heritage, from the most emblematic celebrations to the lesser-known ones. More than just a title, this À Punt show is a true statement of intent: to highlight the diversity of Valencian culture and showcase the essence of each town.

At the forefront is Ferran Cano, supported by a large team of professionals. Faus Olmos leads the direction, with Adrià Espí as script coordinator and Marian García as executive producer. The writing team — Mari Carmen Montes, Nerea Camps, Júlia Costa, and Ernesto Peretó — forms the heart of the show, while Virginia Beltrán and Javier Antón handle production duties.
Behind the cameras, operators Nacho Rodríguez and Pedro Ruiz capture every festive detail. In post-production, Guillem Ramón heads the editing department, alongside Edu G. Mira, Josemi Novo, and Beatriz Cabrera. Completing the crew are Laura Tur (makeup and hair), and designers Julián León and Iris Sastre, responsible for the show’s visual identity and graphics.

Each week, the team travels to three different towns to showcase, from multiple perspectives, the variety of activities and events that shape Valencian identity. With a clear philosophy of staying close to the people and their culture, the program gives voice to the region’s most authentic traditions.

The work is structured in four stages, beginning with the selection of reports through constant communication among the team to choose the three or four stories featured in each town, followed by pre-production, where the rundown and script are developed and the technical and logistical needs of each episode are defined, continuing with filming, led by reporters Mari Carmen Montes and Nerea Camps, each covering a different location per day, while Ferran Cano visits another accompanied by Júlia Costa or Ernesto Peretó, and finally concluding with editing, where the reporters curate their material and the editors bring the final program to life.

Girls On Board

Cinematography and Postproduction for documentary for the Spanish Railway Federation

Fundación de Ferrocarriles españoles | Noticias del proyecto | IMDb

On June 18, 2025, the documentary video “Girls On Board of the Science and Technology Train” was officially presented at an event that served as the launch of the project of the same name, developed by the Knowledge Management Area of the Spanish Railways Foundation. The project received funding from the FECYT Foundation, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

The project “Girls On Board of the Science and Technology Train” was launched with the goal of increasing scientific and technological vocations among girls in the railway sector. In addition to promoting STEAM fields, it aims to raise awareness of the importance of women’s roles in the world of railway science and technology, the inequalities they face in these areas, and the impact that scientific and technological professions in the railway sector have on societal progress.

Girls All Aboard the Science and Technology Train has the following objectives:

  • To promote scientific vocations and an innovative spirit among students—especially girls—encouraging them to pursue disciplines related to research and innovation in rail transport.
  • To foster gender equality and the empowerment of girls and women through education in railway-related fields.
  • To bring the science, technology, and research and innovation activities of the railway sector closer to Spanish society.
  • To highlight the scientific, technological, and innovation developments carried out by Spanish institutions and research centers.
  • To promote the recognition of the railway as a symbol of the values that scientific, technological, and innovation advances contribute to social, economic, safety, and environmental well-being.

The project is funded by FECYT (Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology) within the framework of the 2023 Grants for the Promotion of Scientific, Technological and Innovation Culture (FCT-23-19207) and has a duration of one year.

Billboard, Lizzo and Kim Petras for Uber

colorist and editor for billboard

Billboard in partnership with Uber invited drivers and riders to rethink these ratios. While on their way to a sound check, Kim Petras and Lizzo have an educational discussion with Uber Driver-Partner Karen Brooks, a Grammy Award-winner who has a No. 1 single on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart to boot. Through their journey, the three women musicians discuss the importance of equality in the recording studio and music industry at large.

I edited this piece, together with motion graphics from Berlin, Germany.
